Charitable Giving Campaign
We at Congressional Insurance Associates have always been looking for ways to help the community through charitable efforts and have worked with a multitude of organizations over the course of time. A charity that has a special place in our hearts is Children’s National Hospital and we have partnered with them since the inception of our company in 2014. A huge part of our business is working with professionals in the real estate field including many local RE/MAX offices in Montgomery County. Our RE/MAX offices have special affiliations with Children’s National and as our relationships with RE/MAX and their agencies have grown, so has our commitment to also work with Children’s National.
Children’s National Hospital is primarily funded through philanthropy efforts. The money that is raised by children’s goes towards charitable care for patients, research and treatments for the care of children, advancement services to support innovative programs and services, patient services to ensure children are physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, education services for patients, families, and the community, as well as improving their life saving equipment. We at Congressional have known people personally who have been impacted by Children’s National and how their services helped save lives.
At Congressional Insurance Associates, we host a yearly Charitable Giving Campaign where not only us, but the amazing professionals we work with to come together to give back to Children’s National. This started as a toy drive but has transitioned in to a full fledged campaign. Through our efforts over the last several years, we have come together to give over $20,000 as well as over 500 brand new toys directly to our local Children’s National hospital in Washington, DC.

Congressional Insurance Associates named 2021 Giving Agency of the Year by ERIE Insurance.
ERIE Insurance Group awarded Congressional Insurance Associates of Germantown, MD with its 2021 Giving Network Agency of the Year Award for outstanding community service. In honor of the agency’s efforts, Erie Insurance donated $3,000 to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.
Congressional Insurance Associates has worked with Children's National Hospital for over five years and through collective charitable giving campaigns, have raised over $25,000 and 500+ new toys directly for the local hospital.
The Erie Insurance Giving Network Agency of the Year award recognizes independent agencies that demonstrate exceptional commitment to the community through volunteerism.
