Mike Herson is a Managing Partner of Congressional Insurance Associates and brings over 10 years of insurance experience and over 15 years of customer service expertise to the company. As well as running the day-to-day operations of Congressional, Mike is one of the principal agents of the company, spending his days interacting with people about their insurance.

 

Mike co-founded Congressional Insurance Associates to provide clients with a wider variety of insurance offerings and ensure that his clients always have the best insurance product for their needs, without ever having to overpay for their insurance. Mike places great value on educating his clients on their insurance because, as he says, “You pay for it, so you need to understand it.” Mike believes that every customer should receive a superior insurance experience.

 

Mike was born and raised in Montgomery County. In his free time, he networks with many of his trusted business partners, plays a variety of sports, and spends time with his family. Mike also is a huge DC sports fan, as well as a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network, So What Else and other charitable organizations. 

 

Mike holds an LUTCF designation, which increases his life insurance proficiency.
